Hold and Win slots, explained
Hold and Win is one of the most popular slot bonuses. It is easy to follow once you have seen it once. Here is how it works.
How the bonus starts
Land enough coin or bonus symbols in one spin and the Hold and Win round begins. The coins that started it lock in place, and every other spot on the reels spins on its own.
Respins that reset
You get a few respins, usually three. Every time a new coin lands, it locks in place too and the respins go back to the start. The round ends when you run out of respins without a new coin.
How it pays
At the end, every locked coin pays its value. Many games add jackpot coins, and filling every spot on the screen usually pays the biggest prize in the game.
